Playlogic publishes various genres of games developed throughout the world and also has an in-house production facility. The Company distributes its products worldwide through all available channels, online and offline. At the in-house studio: Playlogic Game Factory in Breda (the Netherlands), one of the most modern and advanced contemporary development studios, a team of approx. 60 people develop a number of titles on several platforms. Click here to check our website: http://www.playlogicgames.com For our Studio in Breda (NL) we are currently looking for a Lead Level Artist The Lead Level Artist is responsible for turning gameplay block-outs into beautiful looking and smooth running worlds. You are setting the visual benchmark and are responsible for training and coaching your team members to achieve their goals on time and within budget. You’ll maintain a healthy balance between managing duties and being hands-on in production. Main duties and responsibilities; •Take an active position during team discussions by providing creative and constructive input •Document and translate the team vision into clear execution plans for the levels •Prototype parts or whole levels based on approved visual designs and set the visual benchmark •Mentor and train team members to achieve visual goals within time and budget Qualifications; •Passionate about videogames and game art •Demonstrated game art knowledge, both theoretical and practical •A well trained eye Experience; •Knowledge of the game development process gained from working at least on one shipped title preferably in a level art or environment art position •Experience in team management and training •Level editor experience (UnrealEd/Hammer/CryEngine) gained from 2-3 years experience in these Skills/Knowledge; •Strong communication skills both written and verbal •Strong problem solving skills Aptitudes/Attributes; •Proven ability to work as an active and positive team member •Able to balance Time and Quality Other job requirements; •Good English both verbal and written How to apply?
