  1. There are places on official maps (nuke/inferno I can think off the top of my head) where you have to jump more than twice to access certain routes to certain areas. Sure it is a little annoying, but as long as it is not for a 'main route' it is not a gamebreaker.
  2. "Counter-Terrorists Win!"...Particle Accelerator fires up...intense magnetic field sucks all guns into 'pipe'...
  3. Hey guys, just finished doing the new overview, thought I would post it so you can get a better idea for the lay-out and flow, as well as sort of preview the new brighter colour palette. Some of the layout is a little hard to read as far as details due to the fact that the map is more than one story. Some entrances may look like they go somewhere they don't because they are really a floor above.
  4. I just checked and the hay cart near T spawn can also be used to troll by tossing the bomb behind it.
  5. Hey man love the map, the update helped quite a bit with the competitive nature regarding the approaches to B (which needs an update on the overview by the way). I found one small error though where you can drop the bomb between the hay cart on the ramp to A and the wall beside it, making it impossible to pick the bomb up. Otherwise keep up the great work.
  6. Hey guys just thought I would let you know I managed to 'complete' more large sections of my map over the past couple of months...still looking for someone with more experience to help put the final 'polish' on, and/or make a daytime version if they are feeling really motivated. Please subscribe, like, favourite, share, comment, add to your collections, and all that other good stuff: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=197054213 Edit: I have also updated the colour correction in an upcoming version so things aren't so 'dark'.
  7. At #2: I've lost ambition to map because of other projects going on in my life; like my career and an RTS mod I and the sole worker on and have a new release coming up in early March (shameless plug: http://www.moddb.com/mods/supreme-commander-2-0-1-3 ); and because I have 'burned myself out' by working on the map too long and too much in the past few months and need to do something different. In fact the map was a nighttime map long before it was even ever intended for any iteration of CounterStrike (it was originally going to be for another Half-Life mod called Frontline Force). In fact the original name was flf_twilight (named long before the horrible movies), later renamed (because de_twilight already existed) to 'tenebrous', an old english word meaning dark or gloomy...it was always a nighttime map. At #3: Yes you are certainly right, I would slowly find the motivation to finish, but the key word there is 'slowly'. I don't need the map done this minute, but at the same time I do not want to be here next year with the 'same' map still on my plate...I would rather let someone else take the reins for the time being in order to a) give me a different perspective on things I am doing right/wrong, b) get things done in a more timely manner, and c) give someone with more experience a go at taking my initial creation from a 7.5 to a 9.5 (if they think it is possible).
  8. Hi guys, I am new to mapcore, but I come with purpose... I need someone with a little more experience in CS GO mapping to put the 'polish' on a map that is 80-90% completed. It's all stuff I would have no problem doing, but I am really feeling like I've temporarily lost ambition to put the finishing touches on the map (real life work mostly is interfering). I would hate to see all my hard work go to waste, so I am looking for someone to take over and 'finish' the map for me, or at least work on it a bit while I am busy with other projects. It is a map that has seen a few incarnations (all half-finished) for different applications over almost a decade, and it is so close to being done that I can taste it. However I feel 'another set of eyes' is needed (preferably someone with experience releasing a polished final product) to put the finishing touches on, and give some objectivity and creative criticism that they would then possibly be able to add to the map themselves or edit existing. Here is the workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=197054213 Would anyone like to help me finish? I would have a list of things I would want completed, as well as taking advice on any modifications you would want to implement on your own. On a semi-related note, I would also love to schedule a playtest, where do I go about that?
