Hello, I'm a amateur mapmaker from Brazil trying only to make good layouts for people to enjoy. Check out my second entry on this competition righ here -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3257248700 if you're interested in seeing what the map looks like, i'ill be posting here all the map changes over time Theme: The counter-terrorist must prevent the terrorists from blowing up one of the weapon stacks around the top of a favela on a flooded city History: While the city was flooding, a group of well-trained police officers raided the top of a favela in search of smuggled weapons. With their mission over, a group of terrorists began a counterattack with the aim of blowing up one of the stacks of seized weapons.

Update!! -Bomb site B *Resized the whole bomb plant area *Added some full body cover on site *nerfed op curb at the ct's 2nd entrance to the site *Added some more detail on the t's entrace -Bomb site A *Changed the conector from the ct route for the mid door *Removed the path from mid to the house *Widened the beach *Added a box right after the t's spawn to acces the deck of the house without using the stairs *Removed some push triggers that where to much close to the playable area -Middle *Moved the t's ladder all the way to the far right where was the previous doorway to the inside of the house *Added a corridor connecting the house with the middle door Thanks a lot for the feedback -> Bl1ndyyy, Alphaowl, Epic, TearsOfPirates, Vaya, Sendious and Meddson.

Update!! -Bomb site A *Reworked the entire bomb plant area *Various angle changes *Removed the indoor area on the Ct main entrance *Moved the house closer to de middle *Reworked the inside of the house *Added a connection to the mid -Middle *Resized the entire volcano *Swapped the indoor and outdoor areas on middle *Removed some angles *Added a door to a conection leading to A site *Added a connection to the end house *Entire rewok of cover -Bomb site B *Added a big mapple tree in the center of the comb plat area to server as cover *Reworked all te pathing leading to t's spawn and conector *Blocked the path that conect Ct's main entrance to the backsite *The inside of the appartment i way bigger and now has a smaller balcony -Terrorist spawn *Moved the spawn positions further on the deck outside *Removed the indoor stairs *Added another ladder on the spawn area -Counter-Terrorist spawn *Widened the path to bomb site A *Added a pillar close to the spawn to cut of some weird angles *The whole path to the bomb site A isn't open sky now Special thanks to the following Mapink playtesters who helped me with their very helpfull feedback: Olaftw, block, pati, t8zer0, riverofarrows, J., bl1ndyyy and zadri

Update!! *Not much layout changes, i don't think there are many major flaws as before on the map right now (Thanks Olaftw for the feedback) -Minor fixes around the map -Minor changes in gameplay around the map -Raised the closed path on mid -oppened more space inse de house on bomb site A -Added rocks on the sea -B heaven is way bigger now -Terrorists Spawn positions adjusted a bit Interested in playing on the map ?? Check out for the opportunities: -Only 2 more playtests schedule for this map *First one happening tomorrow 18:00 UTC (15:00 BRT) at MapInk's server *Second one happening may 26 16:00 UTC (13:00 BRT) at MapCore's server for Final thoughts on the map Map should be playable at Faceit's second batch of the contest maps around 7th of june and 7th of july Note: i only intend to schedule more 1 playtests for this map. here some pictures of the current state of the map ->

Little resume of the current state of the map The map is with the layout almost finished, the gameplay flows well and there are very high risk high reward decisions you can make. The only downside that i see from the mapa is that the map is a retake simulator, very easy for the T's to take control of the site and very easy for the Ct's to go for the retake, and mid is a place you go to control only the T's rotation and Ct's flanking. Otherwise the map is well placed and just need few changes to make playing it more confortabble and easy. Then when the layout stage is done i will go for the polishing of the map so i can finish it and start another project for the contest (maybe de_Hospital 2024? hehehe). So stay tuned in =D

Changes made based on the 06/05 mapink playtest feedback: -Rewoked Mid *The other half is open *Removed the bridge on the middles *Added ladders on the end of each ramp *Widened the Ct entrance and removed one cover there *Openned up the T's entrance roof -Reworked B site *Added a balcony as a new entrace from the ct's stairs to the back site *Re-seized the houses in the middle of the cite *Moved/Removed cover on site *Re-sized the bomb site *Added a new entrance from the t's cave *tweked a bit the cave connection with mid -Change a bit A site *Re-sized the bomb site *removed the drop down on the lava (now its covered with the bomb site area) *Added a sign to bounce grenades on the beach *Added a fence on the end of the beach to indicate where players can go -Started working on the history of the map WIP: Some crazy scientists hired a bunch of terrorist because their where recused on doing legally to set a volcano on a island to erupt just to prove his theory or some sort of experiment and to colect data from the event The Ct's just came on time to know their plan to bomb one of the exposed lava canals and now are forced to evacuate the island and fight the terrorists

After a long time without updating this topic i bring here the last version of de_Volcano before the artpass I just want to say sorry for not posting the updates of each new version of de_volcano. I really did my best remembering everyone who helped playteting and giving feedback for de_Volcano. New Story: Two mining companies are "clandestinely" mining the base of a dormant volcano in search of precious minerals. However, the wealthier company is doing everything to hinder the work of the other, which is not as rich and only has one processing point for its ores. The affected company decided to hire a group of terrorists to blow up a newly built minecart bridge over its main collection point. However, the terrorists have to be careful to cause as little damage as possible to the company that hired them, so they have to choose one of two support pillars of the bridge (bombsites) that are furthest from the center of the map to blow up. New Theme: Theme: Mining Zone at the Base of a Volcano Details: *A small lake in the center of the map where the middle (rotation zone) is located. *A river circling the map. *A large lake at the foot of the volcano next to bombsite A where the river flows into. *A large cave connecting CT base to bombsite A. *Big volcano in the background
