DriftPoint Posted February 2 Report Posted February 2 The recently released Highguard (which, by the way, totally flopped - what do you guys think? :D) inspired me to create a fantasy-themed map and weapon collection. I’m thinking of using these as references: https://gamebanana.com/mods/59483 https://wiki.skin.club/en/items/kukri-knife-crimson-web-factory-new https://wiki.skin.club/en/items/p250-cartel-factory-new Do you think spider webs and skulls might be too cliché for this genre? Thoughts, ideas, suggestions? Quote
HeadlineFPS Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 I’d add something like mystical symbols or runic patterns - webs and skulls are already way too common in fantasy skins. For example, the Kukri Crimson Web looks great, but you could swap the pattern for something more magical. P.S. Here’s an interesting weapon option without patterns, but still recognizable to fantasy fans: https://gamebanana.com/mods/236361 DriftPoint 1 Quote
AnotherMillo Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 I like the idea of combining classic elements with unexpected details. You could add a bit of glowing crystals or green ether. Or a firearm with runic engravings - I haven’t seen that done before. Quote
DriftPoint Posted February 5 Author Report Posted February 5 Thanks for the ideas! I think I’ll try adding runes and magical elements, while keeping the classic webs as accents. Quote
HeadlineFPS Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 Alright, folks, let’s not forget the LEGENDARY Dragon Lore! https://wiki.skin.club/en/items/awp-dragon-lore-factory-new How could we even forget it? This skin is a true legend, pure fantasy vibes: dragon, fire, magic… instant inspiration for any epic campaign. Just look at it and you’re imagining medieval castles, wizards, and dragon battles!
