Think what rick means is you can't filter out the game you are searching for that the mod is on. What you used to do instead of going to games was just go Mods > Select the game from drop down list > select whatever and bam you're done. this one is just messy.

yeah, i would rather search via game than theme, for instance.

    also i tried your suggestion:

went to games, clicked on doom3 as a test, took me to the doom3 page - then i clicked the mods tab at the top (as i couldn't see any others) and it just took me to 'all mods'

    very hard to navigate.

the wireframe shows a lot of waste in places whether it's simply a base for sculpting for normals it could do with some optimisation to prevent you ending up with huge polycounts when you subdivide.

Also noticed some iffy triangulation where you have a 5 sided ngon which is creating nasty smoothing, and will probably create anomalies when subdividing.

Not trying to be overly picky - the model looks nice (aside from the technical aspects already pointed out) but I think it's always worth keeping your meshes as clean as possible to get into the habit, and to continue it with all your models.

    i couldn't play it alone, too boring - co-op was a blast

not really, it was on the table walking around eating bird food and stuff, and then I had to take a piss and when I got back everyone was like "haha you got a chicken baguette" and I was pretty much pissed at the bird for the remaining 1 day that it stayed with us until it jumped off the balcony

Don't know any tutorials for this I'm afraid, but I wouldn't mind sharing my workflow in case that would be interesting.

    1. This is about as how basic it can get, nothing but layout and colors.

    2. Simple shadows and some lighter parts added.

    3. Defining edges using smaller brushes.

    4. Material overlay blended in and contrast added to all layers below.

    5. Details 'healed' in from a photo reference image.

    6. Brown colors painted in using Overlay, as well as painting over some noisy material with a regular brush.

    7. Contrast, color and sharpness added.

    8. Some final touches and a little more sharpening in some places.

Hope this was of some help, didn't want to get carried away. I'm sure there are people here with far more experience on this, and my way isn't the 'universal' way of doing this, there are several different ways.

I watched one of the trailers recently and while there is a lot of depth in certain places; some of the gameplay looks awful. It's like a bad martial arts film where you are surrounded by 10 guys but they attack you one at a time.

And the combat looks a little ugly at times as well, only saw the kind mission but they sounded so proud of it I'm sure it'll be a rinse & repeat of the gameplay. Go in silently throwing ninja stars over distances of 100 metres then kill one guy then fight 20 guys then run away.

    Great :S
