Anyone want to see my new model?

It's a new type of deciduous plant. I call it the "FUCK OFF" tree.

Show wireframes, cause I have no idea about how to model trees

Wire frames wouldn't help you at all, it's just a mess of overlayed tri's. I used this tutorial though:

    http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/co ... tree1.html

    I hope it helps.

Hey Rick, had to sign up and say nice trees, HI looks forward to them! I will certainly be ripping off this method in the future.

How about some cherry blossom... for some really camp maps?

Lol first time I see watermarks here, it is somewhat rediculus imo.

The trees look great, but isnt modeling trees starting to get a little old, (no offence) I'm thinking of the SpeedTree technology here... (used in oblivion etc).

Doesn't speed tree cost like 10k or something similarly ridiculous?

I would love a ST license, but for a mod team it's kinda important to model them without spending way too much money.

yeah, but I mean... its only a matter of time before something like that becomes availible to us modders too! :]~

But I see your point, its not old yet
