Got the XSI compositor to finally play right, can't decide between having a dedicated shadow pass or not having one.

    Without:

Does look a bit fake with it, but looks a bit cooler with the shadow on the floor :\

Getting there now, not much left to do. Wasting time with fancy renders at the moment!

The body modeling looks ok, and it has well balanced poly count.

Altough, I dont understand all those useless loops on the helmet, you'r wasting tons of tris there.

Wow, i like that. On the front with the wood though, id leave the lower half all the concrete/metal material. Having the wood down there looks a little odd in my opinion.

Two graffiti tags, some leaks and roof I have to replace them to my photos but I'll do that when I'll have time... Btw. It really looks like a wood (roof espacialy) - will be modified :>

I don't really know how to get this kind of comments, is it, cgtextures as in "gj" or "gtfo".

I just noticed it's cgtextures, because I used the same tags for a recent texture of mine

For a maya course at school,

We had to texture this stupid tutorial spaceship, so I had fun with displacements

    [Blocked Image: http://jonmonaghan.com/stuff/newmod3.jpg]

then we had to model our own "spaceship"

It looks very organic and interesting as ever, JonM.

Here's something I started messing around with tonight -- it's Space Ghost! Alrighty! Doubt I'll have much time to work on this due to mod stuff & trying to touch up my portfolio:

I don't have any side references (apparently space ghost both fought villains and interviewed guests front-on at all times) and the legs on the model sheet are the most wonky looking pieces of anatomy I've seen in ages, but it should be fun to try and muddle through. I wanted to make Moltar too, but there's only a handful of decent pics around.

Maybe I'll stick a comedy beard on him for the 'new' grandpa model, too. OH YEAAAAAAH! (click).
