    Official link: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Modeling_props_with_Blender

One that is more recent and I like better: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi…s/?id=436454108

If you have a problem I can probably help you. Also, turning on snap to grid helps in blender, look that up too.

I love blender! Been using it to make models for source and unreal for ages now. I have a few tutorials on my youtube channel that may help: https://www.youtube.com/user/abrythenabry

I hated blender, I have tried it a few times in the past when it wasn't so good. They improved really well over the years. And they are heading in a nice direction with clear goals to work on.

it looks the same to me as 10 years ago, button fest

no hate though, it's a powerful piece of software.. I just couldn't get used to the UI.

Like Ton Roosendaal said (the chairman of Blender), "I keep telling the developers, for every button you add, you have to remove two". :)

Hotkeys are the best, although Blender tends to have some badly mapped common hotkeys. I like to re-map certain ones so that I can maintain one hand on the mouse and one on the keyboard. Also shift+r repeats your last action - efficiency ftw!
