TEXTURE CONTEST: ASIAN TEMPLE

    Slicky: your textures are too dark. The first texture looks like something to use for a skinned UV rather than a world brush.

    I redid it as a floor tile as I think you guys where right it did look like it belonged there. I went for an outdoor kind of style as I felt it looked a little more Asian in that context but when I looked at it in a quick map I knocked up in source it looked more Aztec than anything.

    And I had to scale it down and save as 8bit png as the size as a little huge.

    Those textures kick arse slicky but I would have to agree with von*ferret they do seem a little dark but great looking never the less.

    frie, and as for the darkness, it was just the level of brightness that looked appropriate in-game.

    very nice texture peri, but i think he's right.. i just dont picture ancient japan and concrete...

    try using stones or something ;]

    no, it isnt texture it is a sample from ps effects, especially bevel! But if you are a starter, then its good

    wel im a beginner in textures im best already good in ps 7.0 but not in making textures
