The first shot reminds me of the lost underground temple (with the staff and model of the lost city) in Indiana Jones.

That being said, they're still supposed to resemble real rocks, so they should also look like real rocks to some extent.I have been thinking about this since you started posting screenshots. To me, they looked intentionally fake, like you would see at a zoo/aquarium. They look like they are mimicking the mimicking of rocks. And in that respect, I think you did a perfect job.

Also, if I am reading the inspiration correctly, and it is based on Venice beach, you have a huge opportunity to incorporate some really nice views in the 3D skybox. Shore stylings are sorely missed in CS:GO

I actually found some old ones at one point, yes. They were not up to date though. I lost about half of the work I had done on the Larrigans portion I had worked on. I'll see if I can find them again.

This last shot was not an art pass, just testing custom models and textures.

It is interesting to see how the mood changes between the three regardless of the basic layout. The first feels like HL2, the second CS:S, and the third a little like L4D2

really good work, have you considered expanding on that idea and going for a CSS version of vertigo? I think it would be quite nice.
