I've released a minor patch recently, let me know if you encountered any bugs or so during your playthrough!
Number of players have landed around 20k now and is increasing at a really slow rate. Pretty happy with that though. ![]()
Quote from Rick_Dbut it's a game.

What I was trying to say is that game worlds can either try to mimic real world settings and locations or they can be a bit more abstract and "gamey" (and anywhere inbetween of course). My opinion is that the world of Far Cry 3 leans a bit too much towards the latter, which breaks the illusion of being on a foreign, hostile tropical island (atleast for me). For example, animal locations are, like most things, clearly marked on the map and the animals themselves have a very limited geographical range. So when you go hunting, it's more of an MMO-style experience where you simply move to the marked area, quickly spray some animals with bullets and be on your way. You don't have to skulk around in a thick jungle, looking for your prey, watching the amount of sound you make etc.
This doesn't make the game bad, it's just a question of preference.
I've played maybe 1,5 hours or so. it's good but not great so far!
I feel like there's a bit too much clutter in the shape of randomquests/randompeople/randomenemies/randomanimals everywhere. Feels a bit too much like an overpopulated and gamey world if you ask me...
Crysis 1 actually gave you a better sense of place imho.
Can I have the mp3 of the song? ![]()
Wow, Sweden's feminism works fast. Even on Rick. ![]()

Quote from VilhamYeah. I understood some of these words...

I liked the video music though!
coming soon... or perhaps maybe not too soon ![]()
Looks like a solid start, though I gotta agree with Warby.
Just finished it... it's soooooo good.
Highly recommended!
I have to say... I really loved the game's universe. The mystical, weird science and technologies. The ominous Outsider. The bleak and infested city. Whale oil. Gah, such a potent mix! It really pulled me in. ![]()
If you liked the story of the first one, you'll love it. There's more gameplay variety too.
So, CS:GO is even cheaper now. Go grab it so you can play 3dnjs and moroes siege remake! ![]()
Also, Alan Wake is on sale! REALLY cheap now. While the main game has a few flaws, mainly lack of gameplay variation, it's still a really enjoyable game (the narrative binds it all together). I also recommend the American Nightmare standalone.
Just watched the latest ep of Walking Dead! Let me quote a post that was written in a response to an earlier episode.
Quote from PuddyI am getting serious Day of the Dead vibes from The Walking Dead now. In a good way!
Is it just me or did the series start out as a quasi-realistic 28 Days Later style but is now becoming more and more and more like an old school zombie flick? What with all the villains, the pretty extreme characters (katana-girl for example), gratuitous zombie kills etc...
The music near the end of episode 7 really sealed the deal! LOL The Walking Dead is now officially an old-school zombie film.
Love it!
Quote' timestamp='1353891832' post='317664']so get your thumbs out of your asses and go play it.
Just make sure to quit and uninstall the game right before the ending. ![]()
i can definitely see it happen. dishonored was released the same day as xcom and that's 50% off atm.
If you want to get it for 161~ DKK there's always greenmangaming: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/se/en/pc/gam…-enemy-unknown/ (game) and use the coupon here (http://www.greenmangaming.com/hot-deals/). it activates on steam so the end result is the same.
There's a flash sale for Metro 2033. If you are interested in the setting, I'd say you should buy it. That initial interest will allow you to ignore some of the game's flaws and let you enjoy the atmosphere and setting. ![]()
Dishonored is 50% off if you still haven't bought it yet. I'm currently nearing the end of it and it has been one heck of a game so far!
I've prepurchased this now!
It just felt like the sandbox experience can be jolly good fun!
