There's a flash sale for Metro 2033. If you are interested in the setting, I'd say you should buy it. That initial interest will allow you to ignore some of the game's flaws and let you enjoy the atmosphere and setting.

Dishonored is 50% off if you still haven't bought it yet. I'm currently nearing the end of it and it has been one heck of a game so far!

i can definitely see it happen. dishonored was released the same day as xcom and that's 50% off atm.

If you want to get it for 161~ DKK there's always greenmangaming: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/se/en/pc/gam…-enemy-unknown/ (game) and use the coupon here (http://www.greenmangaming.com/hot-deals/). it activates on steam so the end result is the same.

    X-com's worth thirty-some bucks.

I've bought Skyrim, Civ 5: Gods and Kings, and Hotline Miami so far.

Just picked up Mark of the Ninja yesterday. An excellent, truly great game. Very well refined mechanics, so much better than their first opus. Get it now

For those who havent played DeusEx HR, it's at 5 miserable dollars for a hell of a stellar game, so get your thumbs out of your asses and go play it.

Just make sure to quit and uninstall the game right before the ending.

Deus Ex HR is a must-see game. Also the interview with HR's Art Director it's worth reading: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/1…nce_in_art_.php

So, CS:GO is even cheaper now. Go grab it so you can play 3dnjs and moroes siege remake!

Also, Alan Wake is on sale! REALLY cheap now. While the main game has a few flaws, mainly lack of gameplay variation, it's still a really enjoyable game (the narrative binds it all together). I also recommend the American Nightmare standalone.

i bought both alan wake and american nightmare, personally i didn't find them fun (as you said, lack of gameplay variation and pacing), but the story is sort of interesting. american nightmare is pretty much the same, except you get to do sisyphean work by traversing the same spaces multiple times, and them not getting more interesting. midwest alan wake > new england alan wake though, art direction wise.

I agree with what you said, I still forced my way though Alan Wake tho, for a few reasons, one of them was the really good plot and the other was the fact that this is a Remedy game!

I bought American Nightmare on xbox live but haven't got around to play it yet, I gotta stop paying for games and never even booting them.

From what I remember Alan Wake has some really interesting levels though

I think it was just a bit too long for what it offered (perhaps you can call that repetitiveness...) I really seem to dislike long games lately <8h is perfect.

Is American Nightmare really that good? It's on my to buy list for ages now...

If you liked the story of the first one, you'll love it. There's more gameplay variety too.
