the cube map texture is generated by the game. the cube map mask for the material the cube map gets assigned on, i usually gray scale the diffuse map and increase contrast

this is how i always do:

load custom map A that needs the cubemaps

buildcubemaps in console

wait till finished

load another (custom) map B and wait till it is loaded (i prefer small fy_ crapmaps, because they load faster)

load custom map A and enjoy cubemaps

if you have short focal lengths -> no "DOF"

the perspective you draw is wide angle so it is even shorter than short!

ok here are the rules:

1. download the current version of this image and paint something on it in photoshop or any other drawing program.

2. the area you draw on should not take more than 50% of the image

3. dont paste any photos of mapcore users into the picture

4. be as creative as possible

5. upload and post your edited picture so that others can keep on painting!

6. if the picture is fully covered you might start a vote if you are allowed to draw over older parts of the picture

i like the idea too. spreading cool portfolios in forums is much better than try and error some "url" icons below the postings of users. usually you get crap. a portfolio forum would make clear what you get. giving a first impression and maybe referencing to your own personal portfolio website would be an option for content intense galleries.

just a small notice: downloading the resume as DOC file is not good. if you want it to be easy downloaded without loosing layout, then make it a pdf. open office is free and might export pdf's OR you make it a simple html page.

work is of course nice, but the overall usability of your portfolio site isn't that good.

we have 2 kinds of mapcore users:

those who have girlfriends and those who have not.

though i like mac and enjoy working with it, but the safari browser is crappy compared to firefox. maybe safari is simple enough for my taste, but the rendering and support of W3C standards isnt that good.

i didnt know of this drag and drop feature. nice to know if i use the safari sometimes

the point is: the movie "der untergang" is a sad movie showing a more human component of what happened beyond the NS regime. of course they did a lot of evil things, but this is one of the most serious scenes of the movie. adolf hitler says he knows that the war is lost. that is the sentence noone was allowed to say under the nazi regime. now that millions of people have died he, the führer, claims the war lost!
