You *have* got the Chocobo Lure materia on one of your characters, right? In that case just run around until you meet one, throw foot at a Chocobo and hit things that are not it. Easy as 3.14.

You never know, he might spice it up with some original realistic gameplay.

Final Fantasy VII's ending wasn't that great, the final battle was amazingly cool, as was OMNISLASH GO GO GO. But after than that it was the blocky models climbing out of the crater and lots of ribbons and particle systems stopping the meteor. I liked the way Red XIII returns years later (presumeably after raping Yuffie or something), though. Storyline was great, but I guess they couldn't pull anything else at that point.
Final Fantasy X had a better ending in my opinion, even if it did go on too long in parts. Tidus' "I know it's selfish, but this is my story" speech before the final battle rocked as did them not chickening out with Tidus and Auron, and the whistling on the pier before Yuna's speech. I really liked the whistling, same kind of "I'M WELLING UP BUT I'M A MAN AND IT'S ONLY A GAME SO I WILL PREVAIL" feeling I got at the end of FF7 disc 1.
Sorry, but MGS2's ending sucked .

“Whoa, I shot that guy, but now a medic is helping him so he can rejuvenate and resume firing red hot pieces of metal in my general direction; BETTER TURN A BLIND EYE.”
No wait, that's Hollywood.
QuoteThe first incident happened when we were in Phillipsbourg. We were in a factory outside of Niederbronn being briefed by our C.O., Capt Frank Ellis. As he sent us down the road toward Phillipsbourg, following behind A company, he said, "good luck, be careful, we have reports that the Germans are shooting at Medics".

QuoteAttacks on medical personnel were common, the enemy correctly assuming that killing medics and corpsmen would increase U.S. battlefield casualties. Medical insignia, including the red cross, became favorite enemy targets.
Not WW2, but that's moot anyway.

QuoteRobert Roden-"I met [my] brother after St. Lo fell. He was with the 28th Division, A whole story here. I was put in for a silver star at St. Lo along with [steven] Tippy Vasil. It isn't any wonder they started shooting medics, those of us that went up to Hill 122 carried B.A.R.s wrapped up in litters."

Be sure to link to the CS.net forum thread if/when you make one. It was fun watching elitists and moderators say how shocked and appalled they were by satanchrist because it violated Christian beliefs, whilst having less religious imagery and defilement that well-known popular commercial games like Silent Hill or Doom, and order the thread closed so the thread files down the page and out of view by being pummelled by the still-popular dust clones and good-looking maps without any game play prowess at all – although obviously this won’t warrant such a big whineathon because, y’know, it’s Iraq.

SOUNDS FUN.

Lets take a fast-paced unrealistic game were you capture glowing flags, constantly respawn and throw yourself around a maze using grenades; and make it realistic! Surely a recipe for success!

I posted it on IRC, it may as well go here too.

Great, they're looking for someone to pussy-whip

I know; I'm looking forward to it, despite only having seen 5 screenshots. And me getting excited about a game after only seeing a tiny bit of media typically only happens with Square games (although they then disappoint and cause me to shake my fist at the sky cursing God (who may, or may not, exist)).

Yeah, I guess it depends on several things. I liked Rainbow Six and that was super realistic, but it was also squad based and tactical: much like BIA is said to be. I guess it's mainly the single player rambo fests I get bored with, becuase being rambo when you can't dodge fire and die super fast is kinda irritating.
Also: more
less h8. -
I never said realism couldn't be fun at all, just most of the single player realism games I've played are more luck-fests and/or giant scripted sequences filled with random death.
Also: I can't even find that quote.

A console that acts like PC's and attracts PC developers instead of console developers, WE CAN BUT DREAM.

That's the rumour.

I feel dorky for having carried this out, yet along commenting on it, but: This is horseshit. Don't get me wrong, I'd hit it (she has a pulse, right?):

But look at the accurate findings it encountered.
QuoteThe choices you made in the test suggest you have strong, automatic preferences for certain types of women. You made your choices quickly suggesting you have clear physical instincts. A variety of features stood out as important to you. This report explores these features in detail. To start, look at the list of features below that were most common among the women you liked. These "turn ons" were noted in different combinations across many of your choices.
Gee wizz! What did you find, what did you find!?
QuoteYour photo choices suggest a woman over 25 is probably getting a little old for your tastes
QuoteYou seemed interested in dating a woman at least 25 or older
Wow, you're right!

You know, with all the BILLIONS OF YEARS RESEARCH or whateverthefuck they claimed to have pumped into this thing, they'd find me 6 results that didn't completely conflict each other with yet another questionare asking me if they got it right.
