    You *have* got the Chocobo Lure materia on one of your characters, right? In that case just run around until you meet one, throw foot at a Chocobo and hit things that are not it. Easy as 3.14.

    i dont get it. should i buy any of the greens or is there any special types? there are like 9 different kinds.

    explain to me the sequence in which to do this.

    1. buy greens

    2. go out and loook for a fight on the bird tracks

    (this is where i get lost)

    3. fight them till they are weak and then throw the greens

    4. then call the chocobo and have him kill the remaining enemies.

    5. then he should stop and eat the greens?

    i really have no idea what im doing

    why when the chocobo is summoned it crashes into the enemies and some little pink thing falls off of its back? i checked tutorials and stuff on gamefaq's but they like completely skip over it...most walkthroughs say that you should try to outrun that big serpent thing...but last time i made that mistake and got raped (i also forgot to save, having to start all the way back at the shinra tower, having to sit through that 30 minute sephiroph flash back)

    1. Buy greens and Chocobo Lure (purple support materia, I think you get this automatically actually, if not Bill in the stables has it).

    2. Equip one of your characters with Chocobo Lure.

    3. Run around the bird tracks, eventually you'll get into a fight with a Chocobo and other monsters with a very different battle tune.

    4. Immediately pelt the Chocobo with greens so it doesn't run away

    5. Kill the monsters making sure you don't hit the Chocobo (if battle goes on a while you might want to feed the Chocobo again,).

    6. If it's just you and the chocobo left, battle ends and he's yours until you dismount.

    Later you can capture them and keep them, feed them, race them and breed new types. Joy.

    Don't use the Choco/Mog summon materia, that doesn't have anything to do with this and is actually an optional item you got for making the Chocobo dance about like a loon. Choco/Mog typically hits all opponents as well, so if you're in a battle with a Chocobo when you summon he'll get hit, and run away.

    thank you taylor god of all things

    the chocobo/mog thing was what was confusing me, i thought that had something to do with catching them. also, if ff7 was such an amazing omg best game/story every....why dont they make a movie out of it? i mean they made a tomb raider movie and it wasnt like that game was that great...it was just a bunch of nerds that got hard ons from a pixelated lara croft.

    wtf is wrong with the FF franchise...why cant they just make a movie based on the god damn game instead of trying to be edgy and new....must i reference to the spirits within?

    advant children follows the lines of final fantasy seven.. making a movie 100% procent like the game would be l.a.m.e

    personally i cant wait for ff7 advant children

    sephirot = epic

    jenova = my mother

    /me exits fanbody.exe

    yea just like spirits within was gonna be great and revolutionary

    BEST MOVIE EVER?

    It was revolutionary graphics wise, it was just a mediocre film and had nothing at all to do with Final Fantasy aside from a storyline merged from 7 and 9 with spirits, goofy helmets and a TINY easter-egg chocobo on Aki's briefcase.

    Making the movie a sequel is a good idea, the actual game itself would need a lot of changes to be made into a movie as the story sequences are just talking, there's way too many characters and plot twists even for a 3 hour film; hell even making a film for each disc would be stretching it (although the 3rd disc is tiny so you could space it out better).

    The reactor bombing, speech with the president, meeting Aeris, brothel raid, support destroying, shinra raid, oh-shit-everyone-is-dead walk around, battle with rufus and two robots of doom, motorway chase, clouds giant -but insanely cool- flashback, running the Chocobo past the giant snake, etc. Would all be giant scenes, you're about a third of the way through the 1st disc having seen them.
