So the news today is that Peter Moore has resigned from Microsoft and accepted a position within EA instead. Apparently due to family/personal reasons as opposed to issues with the company or recent Xbox events (such as the extended warranty issue), although I've no doubt its not EXCLUSIVELY so he can move back to San Francisco ![]()

I'm rather sad to see him leave MS to be honest, as he was earning a lot of respect from the gaming community for being a relatively open, honest, and laid back spokesperson. He did a great job at the helm of the Xbox IMO, and he's left fairly big boots for the new man to fill. I was very much surprised to hear the news and I was getting kinda used to the 3 companies and their public faces, but with both Allard and Moore gone for Xbox now I'm not really too familiar with theirs anymore.
Anybody have any thoughts on the topic?
