Aha, I had a lot of propositions since I'm working on the Source engine (since 1 year and a half in fact) and some were kinda serious. But I don't wan't to work in game developement. This is just a hobby. Maybe if I had a really serious proposition... why not ? But not for the moment, I'm more of an autodidact, I don't have any formation in gamedesign nor art.

Really cool stuff. It would be cooler if the trees were knocked down as a result of the nuke.

You know, since you're already overloading the physics engine anyway

Yeah, might be possible, but these trees are static models, and each model is composed of 8 or 10 trees. Would be hard to simulate

    nuke demo.

http://www.shexna.dk/download/nuke.rar Not edited in anyway. its a demo from ingame.

    place the file in

D:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\EMAIL\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp "or something like that. depending on where your game is.

then in hl2dm console type "playdemo nuke.dem"

if you have truble getting console http://www.egir.dk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=995

this is with highest gfx settings in 1280*1024 i believe i use.

A demo will just load the map.. and replay what you did but on their computer. You still need the map to view the demo. And what settings you ran it in are irrelevant, it will run on the whatever settings the guy playing the demo is using.

You need to fraps it, make it into a video file on your computer else it's no help at all!

ohh ok. well. guess people have to settle with the one above. or one without sound if people want that. since my frapped one was 1gb... gamecam can make one without sound on around 25mb..

    Fraps'output is an uncompressed video.

You have to compress/encode it with a codec like DivX or XviD, or whatever.
