    Hey,

I was playing Fable TLC again and was wondering what engine it runs on. Does anyone know?

Was thinking that it might run on the Unreal egine because of the well made terrain.

Its not Unreal or I would have known.

    In house perhaps?

Does it really matter what it runs on? Im sure you could achieve similar effects with other engines, its just a tool.

It doesn't really matter but if it was Unreal maybe I could have used some stuff from it.

    oh well thanks anyway

Alan Wake uses in-house, but I guess that'll be a newer version?

You realize "in house" is not a specific engine out there to license, but the term for an engine that was developped internally, by the studio itself, making the game?

lol? ...in-house is not the name of an engine, it means the engine is build by the company itself.

    Edit: Damn Frie

Hahaa oh damn. I should never mix in with conversations that have subjects I don't know shit about! :embarassed:

I lately read some topic regarding a devguy from AW who said AW was using ''the in-house engine'' what was suposedly a big leak. Haha I guess I missunderstood.

Good thing I made someone laugh though!
