Hey,
I was playing Fable TLC again and was wondering what engine it runs on. Does anyone know? ![]()
Was thinking that it might run on the Unreal egine because of the well made terrain.

Its not Unreal or I would have known.
In house perhaps?
Does it really matter what it runs on? Im sure you could achieve similar effects with other engines, its just a tool.
It doesn't really matter but if it was Unreal maybe I could have used some stuff from it.
oh well thanks anyway
Pretty sure its in house.
Alan Wake uses in-house, but I guess that'll be a newer version?

You realize "in house" is not a specific engine out there to license, but the term for an engine that was developped internally, by the studio itself, making the game?

lol? ...in-house is not the name of an engine, it means the engine is build by the company itself.
Edit: Damn Frie ![]()

I lately read some topic regarding a devguy from AW who said AW was using ''the in-house engine'' what was suposedly a big leak. Haha I guess I missunderstood. ![]()
Good thing I made someone laugh though! ![]()
If i ever made an engine, i'd call it in-house to mess with people ![]()
