    I'm currently digging Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. Two very good and expertly written books.

    If you're into fantasy and are tired of LoTR and WoT, try reading George R. R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series. Good stuff.

    was looking for some prices at a site and found it very cheap, my mom has also some points to spend on this site, so I'll have something to do the next holidays here (thursday-sunday ).

    I have those books, but im yet to read them. I highly recommend Feist to anyone who likes Tolkien..that inside delta force reminded me that i want to read the books by Andy McNabb, Immediate Action, Bravo Two Zero etc..

    After I read everything Tolkien had written, My brother (who has read almost every book there is under the genre "fantasy") told me that I should start on this series of books by an Author Named David Eddings.

    The Belgariad was the series named... it was so awesome, like... TONS better than Tolkien. Now Ive read everything he has written too, except his latest book, which isnt fantasy...

    I read the discworld series by Terry Pratchett (described as a less-cynical Douglas Adams) during mai lunch hour.

    I've heard, apart from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, Tolkien is a bit... err, crappy. And I must admit I was nearly going to give up reading during the council chapter, I prevailed though, not least of all because I thought Gimli was cool. So I wasn't overly impressed when he was portrayed as a useless midget whose only use was to be the target of "lol, he is the small" jokes in the films. CRIE.

    I read every book writen by Andy McNab and Matthew Reilly (just ordered the 2 latest of each)

    Furthermore I read any book writen by a ex-SAS and other books falling in the techno-thriller category.

    I read trash like Tom Clancy to pass the long sleepless nights. Last worthwhile fiction book I read was Fahrenheit 451.

    Mostly I read popular science books. Currently reading this one:

    Homo Necans

    I lost it about a year ago, so I'm having to start again.
