Ah, I saw that Ghostbusters footage a few days ago and that looked awesome too.
So is TimeO finished? Do you guys work at Zootfly on site? I have to admit I hadn't heard of the studio before.
On site yea, no its far away from finished. Still prototypes and such, but its gettign there
looking cool!
(i didn't know that there is a game developer ~150km distanced from me
)
Where do you live? ![]()
Graz/Styria (Well actually there is Jowood in Graz, but they are publishing games not developing them... there are a few companies in Vienna though.)

yeh? you say when, i'll bring the beer :wink:
some friends and I had been devising an awesomely 80s camp ghostbusters game for some time... to see something come to light, as one friend put it, as "Gears of Venkman" in an angsty futuristic setting with military getups, a chrysler wagon with a turret on top, and a graffiti-ized logo while having such an attachment to the idea was pretty crushing.
Really it's not that we had a similar idea that gets me, but rather how much of a disservice to the franchise (or any franchise) it is to just say "hey, here's another game, let's plug a license in. Step 4, profit."
Anyway, I'm sorry, this isn't really the place for such a tirade
Carry on!

Totally agree. When I saw the movies on the net I was fairly impressed by the beam effect which look pretty accurate, but the car just totally ruined it for me. Almost looked like they were trying to get it as far away from the actual thing as possible.
If you're gonna do a Ghostbusters game IT HAS TO BE in the 80's, and it looks like they're going all modern on it
Why the hell modernize it? The people that are gonna play it are probably 20-30 anyway and it just does them a huge disservice for the game to mess it up like this instead of staying true to the universe.
Bah I'm just mad :G Such a cool idea, modern Ghostbusters game that is
Btw, TimeO looks interesting, Shadow of the Colossus goes Urban? ![]()
I'm just excited about a cool looking Ghostbusters game, such a cool scenario, so many possibilites ![]()
