    Hello,

I don't know where to post this, I hope it's ok that I posted it here?

Just curious if anyone knows how to fix the /SVN/ directory's in hammer for your textures/props?

We use SVN for our mod, and i have all textures twice (which is a bitch). I remember there being a fix for that, but I can't find it anymore. Hope any of you know?

    Thanks!

We've got the same problem with Insurgency... But we didn't find a fix for it yet though.

BMS uses an SVN too, we also have this problem.

I have 4 versions of every model texture and 3 versions of every world texture. You have NO IDEA how annoying that is.

you can exclude the material directories (mirv wrote us a little program to go through all of our FF directories and add the excludes to the hammer config automatically), but there's nothing you can do about the props & sounds afaik.

It's been reported to valve's bugzilla and is now assigned to Mike Durand, so hopefully it'll be sorted out eventually: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/cgi- ... g.cgi?id=3

Yeah it's really annoying. Adding "svn" to the materials exclusion folders does not fix anything

Give them some time, god knows they need it... ;p

They should just get some guys from the mod community to fly to their offices for 1 or 2 months and fix / update all the content ;p
