Left click on the initial face with "lift and select" mode. Hold alt, and now right click on the adjacent face to seamlessly apply the same texture. Now left click on that newly textured face, hold alt, and right click on the next adjacent face. Repeat all the way around for seamlessness ![]()

I think that another good way to maybe detract from the 90 degree stuff would be to make the skylight an octagonal or circular shape, with a modelled dome type of thing. If it could incorporate breakable glass, this would be a real nice feature for when grenades go off.

While these pics are not ideal, they give an idea of what I mean. Added last link just because it looks cool.

Nice idea ornatebaboon.
Check your pm btw

Great stuff

I think you should use light fixtures that are better suited to that environment. I suggest those circular inset ones, unfortunately I don't have a picture to show you what I'm talking about

Some more furniture added:

Your first shot actually reminds me of an area in my map Omnicron, they seem to have the overall same structure. Yours is different texture style and better looking, but still:)

I love the glass panels in the railings. too bad they're not framed or they could be breakable surf's
-
Even your doors looks superb. Agreed with ferret too

-
is the door a model or a texture? cause thats some great surfaces if its a texture. Beautiful depth
-
Nope it's models.
Here are the models I've made so far:

Also.
I'm looking for a mapping partner on this. So if anyone's up for it I'd be very happy
I feel my ld skills aren't quite up for it... And I'd love to get a good gameplay for this one as well as someone who knows the shit when it comes to hl2 ld with lighting etc. -
Philip K you rocks on creating models

Really nice, makes me wan't to start mapping again!
-
Fantastic models!

i dislike the couch texture
Imho you should lower the fabric overlay since its way too jittery.
And i agree with Peris his crit about the palm
I love the leafs and all the other plants though really well done!
-
Ah you're absolutely right. I fixed the sofa tex now. It got that all flickering shit with those diagonal lines.
And I just thought the same thing about the palm. It's actually a very old model I made long ago. So the trunk is definitely getting an update

Thanks for the feedback guys btw
