I'd love to help out - but of course, I don't have Quake 2.

I may just have to buy it

EDIT: Actually, in 1997 I was in 3rd grade.

What does that have to do with wether you own Quake 2 or not?

I figure that has everything to do with not owning Quake II... What's not to get?

(I guess that doesn't make me hardcore then, eh? )

EDIT: Quake II was released in 1997.. and I was in third grade then... DOES IT MAKE ANY SENSE NOW?

You could always pull it off isohunt. But that owuld be bad.... I guess.

On funnier news, Worldcraft 1.6 for Quake and Quake 2 is so retro it's funny. Plus, it's shareware and I'm supposed to register it with Valve by going to a website that doesn't exist or calling a phone number that isn't connected.

Valve didn't even own it until post-1.6, did they? Still all Ben Morris up to that point. Is that even the right name?

I'm lame - GTK 1.5 is now up and running on my end

The shareware pop-up says the copyright belongs to Valve LLC. You had to register at http://www.worldcraft.com which is domain camped right now.

Are there a lot of people who still play Quake II?

Doesnt matter. Quake II went open source, so this can be released as a stand alone game.

I got q2 off and old computer, installed the full version of qoole, I prefer oit over radient, and I didn't even know where to start. Its been a very long time.

Doesn't Worldcraft (the really, really old version) also work with Quake2?

Just finished up a WIP skin on the turrets you can deploy in-game!

We're having a bit of an issue finding proper .lwo->.md2 (or .md3) converters, so if anyone is versed in that, could you drop me a PM?

    Thanks!

Looks good, but there doesn't seem to be much room for aiming downwards, it makes putting them up on ledges no so effective.
