Yea agreed, the cusions look a little too clean and bright. Overall quite promising though, almost there!

That mod rules by association with that map.

    The chair looks awesome!

edit: fixed it to make sense.

It’s actually a showcase for his models, not the actual map, but it is a great looking piece of work I must say.

This will be a similar theme we will be using for the cabin though.

_**update**_ tmp_lodge map not related to nmrih's cabin fever

the cabin part is the center of the map. but both teams start on the outside. separtated by a fence and a playground i believe. so not evrone will be in the same area at one time. there is a lot more then what im showing you. cabin rooms and an upstairs and such things as a kitchen that im working on now.

cybis i think it was from steampowere.com suggested some vector ish lighting so i gave a crack at it.

REMEMBER THIS IS A WIP BUT IM ALREADY REGRETING THAT IM SHOWING THIS TO YOU!!!

but as always comment on stuff.

I think the light rays are overkill and are too white. Try adding a touch of a warm color maybe

it's just awkward to see white lighting, in reality there isnt much of it, unless I guess theres a spotlight shining into that house. I'd dim it down a little, add a more warm - orangish - color to it. And perhaps since its seems run downed, add some func_dustmodes lightly in the lighting

also, what entity is behind it doing that effect? or did you actually do a custom light model like in de_train

That looks really good, the chairs suit the environment perfectly. Love the lighting too, although I agree with Klein.

and this one is a wip i just put this together in a couple of mins but here. its a part where the rooms are going to be . this is where some vertical fighting will take place and the player will have to look not only in front of himself but up as or down as well.
