    Hey folks,

    I want to create a map that takes place underground.

    Scenarios: The terrorists come out of the sewers and attack a subway that is to be built centrally in a city. The counter terrorists want to prevent this, otherwise a large part of the city will collapse like a house of cards.

    Idea: As construction work continues at full speed again after a long break, some corridors need to be overhauled. These corridors are covered in graffiti. One stop (bomb side A) is almost finished, whereas the second stop is under construction.

    I think making a map underground is not a good idea since players won't be able to throw smokes and other utilities

    I know the problem and I already have a solution for it.

    "Vents"

    When the layout of the map is final, ventilation shafts are inserted where smoke grenades should fly, so that you can smoke or flash certain places on the map.

    Like, compare Max Payne metro places and recrate them in your style or as close as possible inside in area of your map. Fans could see it.

    got this error after creating new materials and custom overlays

    FATAL ERROR: attempting to render with error material for `material/error.vmat`

    How can i fix it ?

    Make sure 512x512 or 1024x1024 or 2048x2048!

    Make sure you delete bad file as well from material folder or the error will stay

    Size of textures must be 512x512 or double they MUST be square ⬜
