Meotwister, I think your model is fine, the lights are too harsh, I think it wipes all the details D: Maybe a lower intensity light will help Some tweaking of the material too maybe

Meotwister: make a room where the guitar is hanging on the wall or something, that would be cool.

I think that would require a different mesh, but I think about it

i think some people will remind me as i modeled this tank. i textured it once but then a screwed the texture because of two things: it was terrible ugly and second it was pure texturespace wasteage.

this is how far i got with the new texture in the new uv set which is now more stiched together.

Sweet stuff Hessi, my only thought is that the sides arent very dirty where as the turret is pretty messy, would make sense if it was more dirty one the sides and front~

    Thats pretty sweet

If the section on the left is the underside, you could have gotten away with halfing it/mirroring, or just making it smaller, as its not really going to be seen much (take a hell of an explosion to send it upside down) and its very plain compared to the rest. Perhaps the same could go for the underside of the main turret too.

The rest is really well packed from what I can see though. Really good job

maybe i didnt made it that clear: i just rextured the upper part. of course i will make it dirty at the bottom and add more detail like rust scratches and stuff. i just felt like having to show you my wip

i will finish the tank maybe this week. gonna make the video tutorial now!

Looks cool. A little hint. In ww2 tanks, planes etc. usualy had a "balkenkreuz" on their sides not such a classic iron cross.

Shit.. you are crazy hessi, what a huge amount of work.. Your UVmap is really sex i must say, lightmaps ftw .

Is it your smoothgroups that are screwed on the front of the tank, or is it intentional ?

Did you create a metal texture to overlay first? Looks hot!
