    I recently created a geodesic dome model for my Vertumnus fight yard maps (Day version, Night version) in CS:GO. I used this video as a guide on how to create the dome:

    This is probably something very basic for a lot of you guys, but as a 3D modeling noob, I'm pretty proud that I was able to create and import this model into CS:GO without many issues. I mean, Blender isn't exactly MS Paint.

    why the FUCK does blender only have a scale slider for reference images, and not a dimension slider

    My first properly UV mapped & exported model :)

    The texture's mostly just detail mask right now, I'm pretty happy w it though so I might just leave it as is

    [edit] Started experimenting re-using the bones I already made to construct other exhibits, I'd say it's working well so far - still need to make a decent pelvis template but this ground sloth's skull arguably turned out better than the whale's

    [edit2] got an okayish pelvis now & redid some other parts, split the textures so the skull is its own thing, so I can reuse the same bones texture across all further exhibits if/when I make them. Also, just about now realized whales don't have collarbones - 'learn something new every day every so often I suppose huh

    Not gonna lie that really feels like the kind of thing I should have already known but oh well there you go I guess

    So this train car was meant to be for my wingman map, but then I got a call from Naught Dog saying they want it for the new Uncharted 5. I guess the map is scrapped now... You'll see this in 2028 when the game comes out. I hear they're planning to use it in one of the big action sequences in the last level.

    Created two pieces of detailed furniture for personal use, maybe for a project down the line. I've baked the seames and folds from a high poly model on to the texture to create extra depth. I used my own sofa as reference and I'm happy with the turnout.

    I'm am practicing the prop making for csgo, for now i made some windows and doors with glass and also refraction, inspired from old houses of my town.

    Here is a model of a scfi-speeder model i created a while ago At the time i was concentrating on just going with the flow an letting what ever felt/looked good starting with a cube and just creating something an letting those creative juices flow.. finally got round to retopoing with a 20k poly limit (in mind) an texturing..
