    Quote from Acumen

    i got one question. if you know yourself that the knobs are too huuuge......why don't you just scale them down before you render and post the pics in here

    Yeah i thought i could get away with it. Thats like the hardest thing in all this. You see the stuff you make in one way and some else look at it at a completely different way. I should have knowned better you guys are pro...

    Rick_D thats sweet.

    Haven't textured this yet, but I was pretty much bored and decided to recreate the spider bomb from the Crusader games. Not sure when I'll texture it but a shot so far;

    Quakis i really think that you should make your own games, rather than editing old ones

    Eh, I don't exactly understand what you meant by that. (I haven't been with it at all today, so that might explain some things)

    I love the metal, very detailed, 512 map I presume?

    The edges let it down, way too bright, I don't know if you do this but I paint on the highlighted edges on a new layer then (normally) use an overlay mode to blend it with the base texture, that way you can change the opacity or erase bits you don't like really quickly and easily.

    other than those edges I really like it, nice work

    Edges are fine, but I think the bright corners are a bit much. Again like above, good work.

    Textured the Spiderbomb. Though it's a little too dull, so I might try and do something about that later. Metal needs to look smoother too, especially on the sphere section. Amount of triangles bad? (It says 232 faces in Blender, so I doubled it for triangles?)

    looks decent for a low poly but you could prob do more with the skin then that. The metal i was picturing for it was more of a matalic like metal .

    just sayin ^^

    just temporarily go into edit mode, and convert all quads to tris to get your count

    Before 2.4x I just used the triangle counter in the Decimator panel
