make the pillars modular and make them your a static mesh so that you can repeat them without redundant memory loss.

'That makes sense, I guess you have to trick it into rendering that way.
Thanks alot

hope you like it

Somehow I can picture that as being very tedious to make.
-
suppposed to look like kazad-dum?
-
I really like the pillars, but the cliffs remind me of my early HL1 rock work
Try and stop it being just an arrangement of vertical faces - I know it is much harder to do, but it will be worth it. -
You should do a map for painkiller with this

Not really... you just have to make some pieces, and use them over again. In that picture i have 15 pieces, and most of them have been used over again.

Well, thats what i was thinking of when i started this. But, i was hoping for it to not look so similar

still very w.i.p.
Have been experimenting with reactor (3dsmax physics-thingy) and a mace, you know the type where you have a grip - metalchain - big spiky round thing that hurts, however it seems to be harder than i had foreseen. Anyways, just a "beaty-render", have unwrapped it and its ready to be textured. What you see is just temp textures. Trying to just finish the final modelling and ill do some more gear before i start with the textures as i suck with photoshop. Ive also added some hair as you can see, but as of now its rather basic, havent made it "flow" like it should.
suggestions for improvement would be sweet.

sweet stuff you got nooba, whats it for? looks like some kind of rpg game or something, deep in the lost halls of the dwarfs or something

really cool man
-
oh yeah that's really cool, the color of the leather is a bit too saturated isn't it ? and he needs more hairs
