Yeah I really like how this turned out. I like that it leans more towards realism and less towards sci-fi, etc, makes me want to dive into UE4 for sure!
Really nice.
Your fluorescent light looks only really huge.
And in the last image it looks like the light is coming from one source, is that true?
You gonna release the assets for free use? Wondering if one could use it in a UT map (although maybe too grounded setting still)
Makes me so happy to see people contributing to the community like this, seriously shit is inspiring thanks man.
Can't wait to see the scene out there, there's a surprising lack of proper tutorials on environment art out there.
Minos your work is a Picasso of the current age.Everything I see you work on is beautiful.

I almost missed this! Should check the different forum sections more often. Great stuff!
haha thanks guys ![]()
Alright everyone, the environment is finished and I created a hotsite with more information of what you will get and ultra high res pictures. Also, if you subscribe now I'll send you a nice discount code when the tutorial launches ![]()
Thanks everyone who supported me through this and for all the constructive feedback! I'm now editing this and will get it done as soon as possible! I still don't have an specific date but it shouldn't take long I hope.
TLDR: For high res images and a discount when the product launches, head over here: http://www.unreal4environments.com

Man it's a detail when I see all the work you did on this level but, please, add more poly in your vegetation set, you can ! ![]()
I subbed, I really enjoy watching the result. As a 2 year mapper myself and still a noob I can appreciate talent when I see it. ![]()

Looks really nice Minos
I would also say the benches look a little bit off. Not designed enough, what about some padding in the center and some wood finish? Just a thought
I agree with Moroes, it's just the finer details where the scene lacks IMO because it's overall very nice
He is good, isn't he?

Completely agree with you guys
I didn't take this as far as I would if I was making it for a game or for my portfolio. For example, I only made a fraction of all the props an environment like this would need. Keep in mind that this was made for educational purposes only, so I had to cut some corners here and there to get it done in a timely manner. My main focus was on the architecture really, where I spent about 70% of my time on.
My main idea with this tutorial is to show you have to make stuff in a simple way. Then you can take what you learned and take it to the next level, either by sculpting some stuff or using substance/ddo.
Great news! I'm releasing a playable demo of the level today for free. Now you can run around it and see things up close. Everything you see here (minus some minor blueprint work to get it running and some sounds) has been recorded and will be available soon on a big tutorial on gumroad and cubebrush!

I'll see if I can get a first person VR version of this up soon ![]()
Hey everyone!
I'm happy to announce that the tutorial is finally launched! Head over to my gumroad store to grab it. I also released the Unreal project files (together with all the sources) if you are interested in that too ![]()
Thanks to everyone who supported me through this and I hope you guys enjoy it ![]()

been following along with this tutorial series, it's really great so far! I've already learned a ton of shit, even the basic windows tips help a lot to improve workflow for any engine. But with some cool UE4 stuff coming to Mapcore soon, this is a badass guide to get up to speed
