YOU dont know if it can be used in multiplayer. I do.

and yes, only the one with better pc's can use it.

people witch slow pc's wont even get the download option

    in the steam menu.

dus praat geen poep man mij afzijken terwel

je zelf niet op de hoogte bent, DM_URBANES_v3_HDR komt

pas uit als ik hdr aan de praat heb punt uit.

How do you know Dragonfly? I don't recall reading any announcement that it would be, so if you have read it somewhere a link would be nice. Its quite possible that it will be added and I don't see any particular reason why it shouldn't, but I haven't seen any proof.

As for the map only working for people with HDR, thats not necessarily true. HDR is essentially just using floating point precision for lighting rather than integer precision, which obviously allows for a far larger range of lighting. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to make a map compatible with both, whether the mapper has to do it or it is done automatically.

I have read on another website

that HDR is an upgrade of the valve source engine,

and that it can be used with all the source games.

I dont have the link for u but I hope it is true.

If sow, al my upcoming maps will be released with and without HDR,

    also urbanes_v3

But hey, I got bored again and look what the hell I have created the past 2 hours

no its not an dark, strange.. gass station but its an PIRAMIDE

I love the strong contrasts. Keep this simple and all you know. Might wanna check out UT2004's Suntemple map, that's a good source of inspiration

HDR will be applied to HL2 singleplayer levels, the new "lost coast" level. Nothing else at this point. Modders are able to use this new tech when its released but it wont be applied to HL2DM, CS:S etc at this point...

Oh and. Everyone gets the so called "download link" to HDR level, it just doesnt show the effects for low-end users.

I like the style and look of it.It seems to be inspired by Q3 a lot.And although in my oppinion the lack of experience is viewable in some places, the "feeling" of the map and the first attempts are realy promising for the future.

And never worry to mix styles and try new stuff....

You allways make dark maps, first quake 1 style then pyramide maps. Haha, keep up the good work. Very different work you do compared with other map authors.
