I might agree on a 6 face button pad but playing a 6 button game with the shoulders mapped really hurts my execution (and cramps my hand).

I'm still having fun with Rising Thunder, I'm actually playing on a 360 pad because the game wont work with any of my 4 ps3/ps4 sticks :(. Playing with the analog stick is kind of rough but at least with this game there's no motion execution for anything. Is the double input for the super an optional thing? Because I have it mapped to L2 right now.

I've also been playing a fair amount of GGxrd but I fear you are WAY above my level.I consciously don't use a few moves like roman cancel often yet because it's a lot of information to hold in my head (but when they work, whooo boy that's fun). I'm maining mostly Chipp and Millia right now.

Millia is particualrly fun to play and I love the sound effects of her specials. It's like a from some 70's sci fi movie.

No PS4 yet, desperately want to try SFV out, not sure if it's worth the wait to get on PC or if I should just get a PS4 to play the beta...

We could play some games and see how it goes. Honestly, I don't get to play online against people very much (I've done about 10 ranking matches) and we stopped playing fighting games at work because Rocket League is amazing. :)

SFV beta was awesome this weekend, average 1 min connect times. Yesterday I went no loss for an approx 15 game set.

The link windows are still hard but combos don't extend that much like they do in SF4 and normals do more damage so the end result is if you practice fundamentals you are going to do a lot better. I've always been weak on execution so that's good for me

I believe the beta comes to PC very soon.

Sure sounds good. I just upgraded my internet to some supposed gamer tier and setup a game tv on wired internet. I'm on a crunch week this week but then there is a long holiday weekend. I'll be playing a lot then. I believe you are already on my PSN too.

Since people who check this thread probably could help me most here: What's a good fighting stick to start with on PC? Oddly enough, it's not for a fighting game at all (or the most fighting game): it's for Tetris TGM.

I'm looking for something that I could ideally swap out buttons and the stick for Sanwas at some point, also it would be nice to have a 4-way stick.

So far it looks like the Qanba q1 is my best option, at ~$70.

How much do you want to spend?

The qanba is pretty nice. The buttons are generally stiff to start so swapping them out for sanwas could be good. Just make sure the stick you buy doesn't have the buttons installed in a way that makes replacing them difficult. This only seems to happen on the lower end offbrand sticks though.

I think the qanba should be fine. They certainly make some of the prettier sticks. I got this one a while back, while the buttons aren't great it looks so nice :)

I suppose I'll go with the q1 then. I'll see if there are any black friday deals on it.

Probably the best TV spot I've ever seen. If there ever was a case where I didn't want this game before, I'd be buying it in a heartbeat.

    EDIT: Added HD version
