You just wait for the glNext session tomorrow morning. There's no reason for Valve to be there without having anything to show.
Source 2!

Sounds like Source 2 is going to be absolutely free to use once it's available. However, any product you are wanting to release will HAVE to be on Steam. Which explains why Valve can release the dev tools for free.

Free except the 30% that Valve take from selling your game on Steam?

There's no point acting as if numbers are fixed. If Epic's marketplace starts putting real pressure on Steam the revenue cuts will just lower in response, etc

Obviously probably not the same leap forward, but it'd be cool if the Source 2 reveal was anything like this was for Source/HL2:

The first comment in the RPS article raises a very reasonable question. "Does that mean you automatically get approved on Steam?"

I was thinking about this earlier! But like... if they showed this, ported to the Source 2 [Blocked Image: http://i.imgur.com/c497D.gif]

As far as I remember they said themselves that greenlight is faulty… it was my understanding that the system is gonna go completely, but maybe it was just speculation.

This is like watching a bootleg gig video from the 70s.

Cool stuff

I wonder if they're planning to "port" other Source games to Source 2 as well (for example CSGO
). -
