[Help] Having a problem after compiling in Hammer

    Whenever I am done compiling my map in hammer I go in-game and some of the walls and floor is all black. Please help

    Does that mean there is a leak in the map?

    - a gap in the skybox brushes (The engine's way of making a sky around your level, if you choose to have one).


    It would be great if you posted a link to the .vmf file of your map. Just upload it to any site like Mediafire or Dropbox.

    Just delete the big toolsskybox brush you have surrounding the level and it will work fine...it's not compiling because the playable space is inside of a big, solid cube

    Alternatively, make the sky cube hollow by a small amount (tools -> make hollow) and it should also work.
