Civilization: Beyond Earth

14 hours straight? God damn son.

Here's a question: as somebody who's never played a Civilization game before, should I pop my cherry with Civilization 5 or Beyond Earth?

Played this a bit a on friday and was less than impressed by the presentation... The menus are very ugly and look like something out of a crappy $3 game on steam, the leaders screen is boring, the ingame UI is confusing etc... in general the game just lacks the level of polish of previous Civ games.

However, the vibe is pretty cool once you get into it. I'm sure this is going to be one of those games that grow on me with time

What. I dont know if its because im not some kind of Art Major or what, but I felt that the Menus and Presentation is great. It has the same cool concept art approach to show perks and leaders, like Civ 5.
