So anywho, here is my CS:GO map ive been working on - Its ready for tomorrows playtest, radar and all.
Note the Handrail and Crate models have no textures yet.

holiestcows - there is a chance I won't be able to conduct the playtest today. Is tomorrow or Thursday okay instead?

Thanks man, got a second round of surgery this Sunday and things have been improving rapidly since.
Being in a hospital 3 weeks straight has driven me bonkers though.

I think I'll have something ready (albeit very rough) for the next test, so long as I think of a name, if you can squeeze it in.

I don't think we have ever tried 4 maps in one test before, but we can give it a shot. The turnout and willingness to carry on last time was good, so yeah lets give it a go.

I wouldn't advise 4, 3 already takes 1:30h people start to leave after that.

Frankly, with how rough it is, it doesn't matter if people start leaving.

Yeah, player drop off might be an issue, but if there are not enough people around, we can just quit and move the map to the next test. No big deal. I am happy to add it to the server and see what happens.

I put feedback in the maps' threads, but oilrush doesn't have one so I'll stick it here:
The map's a lot less convoluted than I expected based on the screenshots, which is good, but the action is still a bit scattered. Like a lot of people said during the test, the jumps are hard to make and not always obvious, so the catwalks are hard to use. My biggest complaint is the sightlines. There are a lot of narrow, cross-map sightlines scattered around, especially from the catwalks. Getting shot from the opposite end of the map through a 5 inch wide gap sucks. Really fun though, some more versions and it'll be something great I think.

When is the next playtest? I'd like to throw in my map (layout is finished but mostly all in dev-textures, I playtested with old competitive cs 1.6 friends but I would like to have more feedback from you guys!)

No new test has been scheduled yet, but if your map is ready, just pick a day between Tuesday and Thursday, and we can get one started.

Ill probably have a new version of OilRush for tomorrow, ill post it later today if I do, if not, Ill plan on it for Wednesday.

How does it work to get a map tested? Do I have to submit it to workshop? Need radar?
I'm available to playtest when others are willing to, like holiestcows. So if we test oilrush tomorrow, we can test my map as well, if it's wednesday, it's fine with me!
