Is that really a dark secret tho? Wasn't everyone expecting it to be a micro transaction jungle?
I'm done with the game, but I'm pretty interested in seeing how it'll look in 6-12 months, whether they'll be able to refine it and fix it up.

Tried to play my city again this morning. After getting it reset twice last week it now doesn't even load anymore... just says the file is out of sync and never syncs it.

Started a new region in a new server after trying to play that city one more time. Game crashed when I was laying out the initial roads lol.
My theory for all this crap is that I was playing that city at work, went home and resumed it before origin finished syncing the data and now it's stuck in a rollback loop. It's so annoying how the game never tells you when the city is saved or not.

Yeah, had that going for a couple of days as well. Glad I'm out of it, game just kept making me sad whenever the cities grew big enough.

Yeah... I'm sorta done with this for the time being. It's a shame that EA's bullshit really tarnishes the game on a whole different level, in my eyes at least. Even if they fix a lot of the issues with it, the game's dark and unholy past has stained it from now til' kingdom come.
