    It's back up again now...

Anyone have theories as to why part of New York (or a city it's based on) is flooded?

Overgrown city is an original theme? When did this happen?

Could be several of the various dams around the city broke?

Interseting. The impression I'm getting is that The Last of Us is as much about zombies as Uncharted 1 was. That is, they're in the world but they're not the main antagonist or focus of the game — which makes this kind of a zombie game, but not really. They're just one of presumably many post-apocalyptic threats.

    Sounding better and better.

Sounds like the set up of The Walking Dead and Terra Nova. Hopefully the characters will be better than those shows if they're going to pull the "ignore the elephant outside the window" routine.

I think they ripped it from Half-life.

Looks good, but not as good as Uncharted. The characters look a little bit 'lifeless', which isn't a compliment.

    Doesn't matter to me though, I don't have a ps3

Dude looks like a caveman, especially in that first shot. Also those textures make me sad, Naughty Dog should make PC games.

Not only the textures are blurry, the lack of anisotropic filtering on the floor textures also kill it for me! [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif]

Well see man, it's the first shots, it's easy to over analyse shit when you're staring at a static pic, but that truck's texture... lmao.

yeha why did they release that third shot the truck is clearly not the same res as the rest also that hard edge on the column killed me would it have hurt to add a couple of cuts and make it soft ?

Haha, those shots are definitely a little questionable but I just can't imagine this game looking anything other than splendid once complete.
