I'm totally not impressed with the new inferno. But maybe that is to much the source engine being really outdated when it comes to lightning.

Just played some 5on5 games on it and i must say, that it's pretty well done. Ts seem to favour B a bit too much tho. But i don't think that's a real problem and CTs will adapt to it. Now just 2-3 boosts need to get fixed (although they're fun to use - but don't really have a place in a competitive map.
- Boost from B into Banana
- 3 Man boost from balcony 2nd mid into Banana
- Boost above door Apps 2nd mid
Also: The map is looking awesome.

I miss the bells.

Mirror's edge is so clean, but it feels much more real. Like the colors are a but washed up, and it's visible those texture are drawn and not modified from real stuffs.
I fear valve is going too much the way of overwatch

What is happening?!
Compatibility versions of several Community maps from past Operations are being uploaded right now.
- Coast
- Empire
- Mikla
- Royal
- Santorini
- Tulip
- Log
- Rails
- Resort
Edit: More maps still being uploaded..
- Season
- Zoo
Is there something bigger in the works? Let's hope we'll be able to play older Operation maps in official playlists.

Probably removing them from the game's package to reduce the install size, I would bet.

Really well done Source lighting > Noobie UE4 lighting. Only a fool blames his tools

Valve really patched the shit out of Inferno only a day after release!

I would still enjoy a "Best of Operation" map rotation, though:
Zoo, Season, Santorini, Resort, Seaside, Agency permanently being available on Valve servers would be amazing.

Valve burning the midnight oil. Great sign for infernos future. Now if someone could possibly look at outstanding issues on other maps..

It would be awesome. But Resort? I didn't like that one. Was that popular among people or is it just that you liked it?

Popular among people that had taste *flicks hair*

Well maybe the map creators could enlighten us about what is going on?
I mean, it's not like there are much cs go operation maps which do not come from here anyway

most logical conclusion is removing the old operation maps from the base game to remove the bloat. Since the content is in the VPKs it may lead to the game running better (smaller seek times)
Having an 'all map' operation seems like a very bad idea to me. Some of the older, lesser formed maps would never be touched.

huh? Afaik, OP map assets were never stored in the VPKs. They would have appeared in the SDK otherwise.
