What distinguishes MW3's multiplayer from MW1 and MW2, out of curiosity?
"Modern Warfare 3" ??

Gosh, If you use the setting "extra" in the game settings, the resolution is set on the console resolution and afterward upscalled to the screen resolution.

Thanks for the tip, Froyok! Made the game look much better.
Sadly, the single player campaign had the same issue Rage did. By the time the game finally got its legs and started getting good, it was over.

As for MW3 SP, I kinda
Quoteliked
the
Quotevery end sequence
when you
Quotekill Makarov
despite the
QuoteQTEs.
It was a moment of
Quotepure revenge
though I wasn't too
Quoteemotionally involved
to really
Quotegive a shit
but it was at least kinda
Quoteinteresting.
I mean, it could have
Quotebeen much worse,
right? Then I wouldn't get to put this
Quoteannoying spoiler taggage everywhere
in this
Quoteincredibly
stupid
Quotepost
.

Izuno is showing levels of boredom that are only present after playing MW3

cant people just look at the model in the editor or open the .md3 file with any model viewer and check if its the same ? or is there no sdk ? (yet?)
-
There hasn't been any proper SDK or the like since MW1 (the last good CoD). The tools for Black Ops were merely just some scripting and particle editor iirc.

I found another culprit!!!!!!!

a palm tree would take a professional artist all of 5-10 minutes
shit nigga i got some way to go then

-
lol 5-10 mins. some people have no clue, not the most minuscule clue on how hard is it to make vegetation in games.
It took tom 4 years to nail these.

i just went back to this again, biggest piece of shit i've ever played. i almost want video games to crash so we are forced to make something that isn't a huge steaming pile of shit. why can't we make good games with a decent budget, that sell a couple hundred thousand, recoup costs and keep going. this turn towards blockbuster shit is murdering creativity.
i am about ready to give up videogames. anyone reccomend something that i can play to make up for this festering piece of cancer?
-
it also really depresses me that we are watsing all our best efforts, the big money and the fluid game experience polish on something as shit as this.
imagine if they spent these kind of dollars and polish on skyrim or something, we'd have fantastic games. but no, we get this. "the most anticipated game in history".

Play Nintendo games that have no voice acting or tutorials or stories and the same concepts and characters for the last 25 years and are still better than pretty much everything being made today.
Even some 9.0 wankfest like Arkham City hasn't got shit on a Mario platformer on a shitty 3D handheld system. I put Batman down after an hour but somehow managed to beat Mario twice.

I want to get back to it but after the tutorial bit I was pretty overwhelmed by everything. The gadget/abilities screen alone made me want to turn it off. And I'm pretty sick and tired of games with giant maps with little icons all over it for me to go and clear off. It pretty much kills whatever exploration I may have done on my own because more than telling me where the cool shit is, it's telling me where there isn't any cool shit, so don't go over there, where we didn't design anything, go here. Turning your game into a big task list kind of puts a damper on things.
