Fixed up the alignment a bit:

Quick mockup of something a bit cleaner:

Thanks for the feedback Minos. I think I'm gonna go with the first one with the alignment changes, I feel the second one is a bit too empty. That said, I think my original one could be a bit sleeker too. I'll try and find a nice balance.

the sleekness of the second one places more empahsis on your work rather tahn the labels which are less important imo, its the images that matter

I have to agree with FMPONE here. Your work is great and should be the focus of the site.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I would still like a bit of contact information so I'll try and find a nice comprise.

You guys are great, thanks so much for all the feedback. I really appreciate it!

It will be up there! It will be in the level design section.

My site is now live, however, I haven't actually put in the content yet. That should be in by tonight or tomorrow, I just want to make sure it's functional first. It has changed a bit from my design because my design was a shitty Photoshop mockup, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

I need to add links to my CV in the resumé section, too.

Definitely not better! Needs a lot of work

Really going to focus on lots more environment work outside of NS2 over the next few months.

I'd split up the source work into tf2 / black mesa.

Use this as the thumbnail for black mesa (brighten it slightly though):

Other than that, fantastic work PogoP. Incredibly sexy folio! I'm jealous. Did you make it all of it yourself?

Yeah Black Mesa is relevant enough to deserve its own section IMHO.

And congrats on your great work man!

Nice idea, Puddy. I've split it up into 2 sections.

I designed the site, but my friend from uni made the site for me. Here's his site: http://www.samdoesth.at/

Ok, all my work is now up and online! Check it out guys, and let me know what you think. I've included a few shots of bits from the Alpine scene too.

In my experience the cryengine is extreme and you could definitely cram like 900% more clutter into that scene

jps point is funny but also slightly true, why not add some a) light beams b) dust motes/flies c) flowers, etc

More detail != better scene is very quaint so far.

I'm definitely going to add in some flowers and detail the path a bit more, as I've said before. The path is just really flat at the moment.

I am actually working on another scene at the same time, practicing doing a more realistic building scene. I'll have shots soon!

My only complaint is that the grass sprites are too wide, it makes them obviously 2d.
