First game I ever played full-stop? I'm ashamed to say I can't remember. Aladdin was one of the very early games I played, so was Terminator: The Arcade and Lemmings on my school's Acorn.. but which came first I don't remember. I wasn't a fan of video-games much during the Megadrive and NES days, I usually only played them at friend's houses.

The first time that I recall playing a videogame is similar actually. It was a fashion store and every once in a while my mom would go and take me with her. They had an NES so the kids are occupied while mommy can try new clothes. Which game? I'm sure some of you have heard of it.

I've played older games than that, but obviously the thread is about the "first" and not the "oldest" game we played. On the PC it could have been "Prince of Persia" or "Kniffel" (the computer version of a dice game lol).

Hugo's House of Horrors.

At the same time I got it I also got Wolf3d, Doom, all those identical 2d platformer games from Apogee (like Duke), etc. so it's a tossup as to which came first, but Hugo's House of Horrors is the memory that feels earliest to me. I think we had an Atari in the house before the MS-DOS PC, but I don't remember playing it, just watching my mom and aunt play Bowling and being confused because I couldn't make out at age five what was going on on the TV.

Also, I lied. Well, not lied, more totally forgot. Sonic on the master system was my first ever console game with outrun europe and sensible soccer. Streets of rage eclipsed it all and I remembered that instead.
