What was the very first game you remember playing?

    I'll start it off. This was on the Atari 5200.

    I remember it like it was yesterday, I think I was 5 or maybe less, my dad bought a Atari and the first game i remember trying was:

    Oh dip I remember Alleycat.

    A friend of mine had a Commodore 64 with some games, but I have no idea what they were called so I can't google imagesearch them

    Edit: Who played Dune 2 on the Amiga? Best RTS yet, Starcraft2 has nothing on it!!

    Curse of the Volcan, a text adventure on the C64. I spent so much time in that game, but I never got further than about 4 screens.

    The first game I remember being my favourite was Impossible Mission, also on the C64

    For PC, I think it was X-Wing:

    Or Doom. They were both installed on the PC that mom got back in late 1993, and I wasn't really allowed to play Doom. But we did anyway since mom didn't know how to delete the DOS games

    For consoles, I think it was Super Mario Bros on a NES.
