The fox is actually a live camera feed to entire halls full of China men who are "in real time" adjustments to the gameplay experience uniquely for every customer.

POTY because i'm at work and did one of those BWUHHH laughsalso, that explanation makes a lot of things make a lot more sense, especially why steam is required to play

I'm level 20 and have lost a lot of interest in the game. I'm not finding it as fun as everyone else

12 for me. Oh man, I'm a terrible human being.

Can't figure out why I played through Fallout 3 almost twice but can't manage more than a few levels with this. Probably guns.

I think the world in Fallout 3 was more engaging. I've only played 2 hours or so of Skyrim but every character speaks absolute fantasy herpiderp and the landscape is an eye-sore when viewed from a bit of a distance. It's always met with /careface.

Now Fallout... the world seemed more interesting somehow and the writing was just plain better imho. Maybe the guns helped... don't know.

Just got a crazy beefy new gaming rig and started playing Skyrim. It looks amazing and loads like lightning compared to playing it on the PS3. Unfortunately, it loves to randomly lock up my computer every 5-30 minutes of play. Pretty frustrating. Every other game performs perfectly and the temps / memory on my computer all test out ok. Hopefully 1.4 will fix this for me, I haven't had a chance to try out the beta patch on steam yet.

The beta patch really does make a world of difference, definitely grab it when you can

I was getting odd cases where the game would stutter when loading a new area then everything would be a fluid 60FPS.

After I grabbed the 1.4 beta patch everything is smooth as silk the game never drops below 60FPS at 2560x1600. And I don't even have that great of a PC.

Just watch it though, as enemies scale with your level. After you've maxed out blacksmithing, enchanting, and what else before getting into any fights, don't come bitching when simple mobs rip you apart

Well it's just like life right.

If you spent 8 yrs of 80yrs alive (8 of your 80 levels) washing dishes, your skills would be incredible but now that you are legal to drive, smoke, drinks and have sex you have none of those skills in life, so it's all about balancing.

What I like to do is get a dish washer in my motor home and have my gf blowing me while I'm having a cigarette and a drink while driving. That way I will level up everything equally.

Or you could pay experts throughout the world to level up your other skills

Most of the 3rd party hi-res texture mods were better than the official one.

I thought they the 3rd party ones were a good mix of good and bad and wrong art direction.

I think the main problem with third-party packs is they do change the style to suit their own intentions, whereas obviously the official pack will completely match the original art direction. I don't like the idea of playing through the game and the pack creators not realising a certain texture they modified extensively looks stupid in certain places where it's used.
