Here lies my in-depth review of Skyrim ...
GOTY
Did most of the quests in Whiterun and Markath now (aka ran away before anybody else came up and offered me more quests, arrgh!). Doing Thieves Guild stuff now, fucking grotesque just how much content that's in this game, just keeps on coming in piles, and at 50 hours I'm still super hooked.
Mazy,
Quotemake sure you do House Of Horrors in Markath if you have not yet, it's fooking cool
Fuck this game, I dont have time to play ![]()

Quote from 2d-chrisMazy,
Oh yes I did that one, was so awesome and so unexpected. Too bad the
Quotemace you get from it all takes so long to strike with, otherwise its pretty nice
Like I said, trying to clean out the towns for quests, but there's always more (randomly generated?) stuff popping up D:
You guys feel like fags yet?
dude i would totally have gay sex right now
420 be gay everday
haha brilliant ![]()
I just can't seem to get into this game. Dreadful voice acting, stale characters, blurry landscapes and weird writing keesp me from embracing the world of Skyrim. I just don't feel connected to the game world at all ![]()
It's just not your thing then...
The more I play this thing, (30 hours in) the more I realize this is one of the best thing I've played in a long long long time! Having a blast!
The genre and setting is my kind of thing, and I loved Oblivion (with mods)... but I dunno
I envy you.
I'm gonna let it rest for a few weeks and then try it again...
For me the game has an appeal that is hard to find in other games. The entire game is basically a blank slate where you can carve out your character.
Maybe it comes from being a major RPG geek back in my youth, but I find that the more I play in Skyrim (and Oblivion, and Morrowind) the more my character takes shape. It's different from other RPG games that don't allow you the same degree of freedom: Neverwinter nights, most MMOs, Diablo etc... in all of them you ARE the saviour of the world and predestined child and the only way to advance your character is to follow that ultimate destiny. Whereas in Skyrim you are not penalized in any way for not following the main questline and becoming the Dragonborn hero. You are free to make your own adventure. Since my D&D roots make it so, I create narrative out of every action I that Skyrim lets me do to its fullest. In this regard it has some resemblance to minecraft, but instead of crafting castles and mazes I'm crafting a character. And that character lives solely in my mind, and is expressed by my singleplayer save file =P
Don't expect the game to deliver the entertainment to you — that's what CoD SP has been trying to do — but try to make your own enjoyment of the game.
And that's why I've sunken more than 90 hours in it already.
Damn I'm a complete geek.
such an epic truthful post arhurt!
Of course all the gay sex I've been having is an unexpected bonus.
Only if the game was coop, then we could share joyous gay sex festivities.
