No, I mean its too wavy. Smooth them out a bit or just subdivide and leave them alone

I've seen plenty of old buildings around here with their roofs just like that, smooth curved ones dont tend to happen that often.

Yeah, that picture seems like a fairly accurate depiction of a lot of European architecture. I too have seen plenty of roofs like that (worse, in fact — they look ready to collapse).

    Hey again

Hm, I could increase the subdivisions, but I don't know if that'd make it look much better...

In fact, the wavyness is no exaggeration (like the others said).

This is already bad, and I, too, have seen worse...

I think the wavy roofs look fine.

Beutiful map dude, I just love the background buildings and the glow they have.

So I've been playing and loving TF2 the last few months so I finally decided to make a map for something other than a mod

Please note this is very WIP, should have a beta out pretty soon (few weeks) I'm trying to keep to the tf2 style, also performance is a big concern so i'm not going overboard with details and I don't want to make a really close combat level design, those fustrate me a bit :\

Gameplay will be like cp_dustbowl (the first level) but a little more ranged!

*edit* the map above is darn sexy, good job.

Real nice, I'm liking the height variation of both the rocks and the gameplay area!

awesome two dee, it has a very distinct non canon tf2 look over it in those shots. it's nice to see some changes from the standard valve looking maps. dont get me wrong, i love them, but sometimes you need a wee bit variation.

A little Quake4 scene, this time without any wooden tentacles or whatsoever The fire particles are from the original game, the rest is custom content (average texture resolution 512x512).
