BJA: I love it, nice to see someone other than Method making real-world environments in the Doom 3 engine

    Thanks guys

Deh0lise: yeah, already heard that before that the wooden planks on the windows don't cast any shadow, but thanks for pointing that out.

ifO: Some props are made out of brushes and patches within the q4 editor, so there are not that many models.

Looking good so far BJA ! Some of the textures appear to have a quite noisy normalmap/heightmap.

Hope these rooms will evolve to something bigger.

    Post more often buddy!

A little bit of something for Quake4. I used some dirt decals from the game but the rest is all custom content.[Blocked Image: http://www.bja-design.de/different/q4map_screen1.jpg]

Holy frick. That almost looks like it came out of 3ds or something. truly top-notch work.

Yeah extremely impressive work there BJA! Some might claim that it's too cluttered, but I like the style.

It seems that the boards on the window aren't casting shadows, otherwise good.

Psyshokiller (isn't it supposed to be "Psychokiller ? o.O.): Most normalmaps were created in crazybump or with the nvidia normalmap filter (sometimes both). Guess you're right, the concrete and walls look really a bit too noisy, but I guess that's what comes out when you spend only a few clicks on creating them. Not sure if this little scene will evolve in something playable...probably not

Zacker: Thanks, and yeah I hear a lot people saying that the models feel a bit too random.

Something: That's always the first thing people seem to notice but thanks for pointing it out anyway.

It's supposed to be Psyschokiller. When I was signing up on mapcore my "c key" didn't react , without me noticing it (saw it later on).

Can some admin fix this please?

Don't forget to account for widescreen.

Is the menu itself normally that far to the right? Seems a bit unplaced there.
