wow that is a strong dutch accent!

"Particle effects that are getting physicalized on collision, affected by wind..." this has been done in Crysis for over a year already, so when he says they are pushing the technology forward with this, he isn't being accurate.
"200-300 lights visible on screen at the same time" - Is he talking 'dynamic lights' in this case? Still good performance? Kudos if that is true, but I wanna see that

-
It is possible he's referring to the context of console technology Frie, just to throw that out there.

-
I don't deal with inferior technology!

-
Nobody knows what the Crysis engine does because the only computers capable of running it properly are in the Crytek building.

We're almost on 2009 and people still say stupid things like this? Have you even installed Crysis on your machine Taylor? Or your just saying that out of your ass because you read it on Kotaku or some shitty game community?
Crysis runs maxed out on all the standard PC's nowadays at 1280*960! And you can get a standard PC for 750$.
Crytek might definitely not be the best on the game design field, but they certeinly deserve our respect on the technological field, and this kind of comments really get's on my nerves, because they are far from being the truth!
Sorry for the off topic post.

Taylor's taking the piss, he does it a lot

Im really looking forward to it, have been since the first proper ingame media started showing up a year or so ago (and obviously also after watching the E3 05 trailer
). Its looking absolutely brilliant visually and the word on the street is that its pretty damn solid shooter to boot. Also about time that the PS3 gets a really good shooter exclusive
-
ps3 already has a decent shooter exclusive. Resistance fall of man.
-
Does Portugal have sarcasm?
-
-
-
I agree! Resistance is as generic as it gets!
It's one of the few games I regret buying for PS3. -
Bleh. I enjoyed playing through Resistance co-op, and I really liked the weapon design.
-
I didn't play Resistance through to the end, but I was certainly impressed by its weapons — very imaginative, which is what you'd expect from the same guys behind Ratchet and Clank. I also liked the use of real-life UK cities, including York which I used to live in.

I'd say out of all the first-person console shooters out there, Resistance falls into the higher end of the bracket; there aren't that many that're actually better than Resistance.
