No, although I've had no cause to not continue playing/enjoying it (reached the second chapter a week or so ago). I just take games slowly — I'm still semi-regularly playing through Uncharted, which I started in 2007 yet still love every session.

I had the same experience playing Bioshock, I could have mixed things up a lot with the plasmids and guns, but I never felt the need to. The game simply didn't require it, so I didn't bother either. I did finish it yes, and I remember that the initial awe of the artistic direction kinda wore out rather rapidly. Certain things were fresh enough throughout the game, but that wasn't enough not to feel a certain sense of rinse and repeat art wise.

I need to play it again though.

    Play through it on Hard.

Fuck me it was haaaaard. Took me months to get through it, had to sum up each encounter with its pros/cons on whether to fight or run like a girl. Big daddys took 6 direct hit grenades to kill lol.

Started playing on Easy and found it boring, I'm halfway through and can pretty much kill anything with the wrench and a Plasmid hit.

So Bioshock 2 was just announced to be slipping into FY 2010. Meaning it will most likely skip the holidays completely. Arkane Studios are also working on the multiplayer it seems, which may be another reason for the delay (the more teams, the more chances)

This holiday season seems all the more set clear for the very few blockbuster releases that will come out. MW2, AC2, Conviction and Uncharted 2. Last two being exclusive titles, they'll be good candidates for a sales comparison. I actually think they're set to sell about the same.

I hope some of you already saw it, if not, watch it now!

This is the new trailer for Bioshock 2, which looks absolutely amazing I think.

I wasnt a fan of the first game because it felt like i was playing doom 3 with water.... (sorry just my opinion, i respect that other people love this game)

However!!! this one looks rather interesting. Looks like they upped the different enemies and situations. Looks like a solid title tbh!

    The dots, connect them.

I loved Bioshock the first time through, but my I made the horrible mistake of playing it two times back to back, and it really didn't hold up very well the second time through. Been more or less ignoring this new one for a while, but I guess that I will play it once it comes out, just ain't terribly excited about it.
